Baton is a paid product as of 14 September 2026: a 14-day trial, then a Personal license ($79 once, 12 months of releases) or Team ($12 per seat per month, adds baton share). The license is the Baton License Agreement (commercial, source readable); 0.2.0 and 0.3.0 remain published under MIT and are not deprecated.

0.3.2 (2026-09-11)

A second adversarial review over 0.3.1, this time of the whole tree: 49 confirmed bugs fixed, each with a regression test seen red first (340 tests).

0.3.1 (2026-09-11)

A security and correctness pass over 0.3.0, after an adversarial review. No new features; 44 fixes, all covered by the test suite (281 tests).

0.3.0 (2026-09-11)

Closing the gaps against the two tweets: a limit path proved live, waiting instead of quitting, collisions stopped instead of flagged, and more than one human on the board.

0.2.0 (2026-09-11)

The way in is now baton claude, baton codex or baton agy: the normal interactive agent in your terminal, with Baton alongside it. The v0.1 form, pipelines, leases and merge queue stay as extras.

0.1.0 (2026-09-10)

First public release (source on GitHub; not on npm yet).
